What is Physical therapy?

Physical therapists are licensed health care professionals recognized as essential providers of physical rehabilitation and injury prevention.

Physical Therapy is provided for individuals of all ages who have or may develop impairments, activity limitations, and participation restrictions related to conditions of the musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiovascular, pulmonary, and/or integumentary systems and help individuals maintain, restore, and improve movement, joint range of motion, muscle strength, balance, proper mechanics and functioning, thereby enabling optimal performance and enhancing health, well-being, and quality of life.

    • Our approach consists of soft tissue mobilization/scar mobilization, modalities including electrical stimulation and ultrasound, therapeutic exercises, compression and patient education to ensure proper body mechanics and skin care.
